Since 2018, we’ve independently researched and tracked gender inequity at music festivals, combining thousands of volunteer hours and a belief that better information can lead to better decisions.

Our data has revealed that at major U.S. music festivals in 2025, just 22% of musicians booked were women.

Becoming a nonprofit gives us the structure to grow our work sustainably - to deepen our research, design solutions using what we learn, and create resources and opportunities for artists and industry professionals - all to address these numbers head-on.
